Math Updates:

This month in Math we will be learning so much. I will introduce the students to the Addition and Subtraction Facts Table and explore it with a game using dice sums. They will learn about Equivalent Names for number and be introduced to Name Collection Boxes. We will be learning about Fact Families and Fact Triangles. Fact Triangles are the new and improved flash cards. I will send home a set for them to practice. They will also be introduced to the centimeter and the quarter! It will be a busy month of math in the first grade.
